Monday nights have become a hot spot at Kirkland's Wilde Rover, where Dan plays with uber-talented lineup Geoffrey Castle (electric violin), Eric Robert (keys/bass) and Darin Watkins (drums). The set ranges from beer-slamming Irish drinking songs to gems from his lush catalog of original material.
Dan plays a solo set every third Tuesday night at Zeek's (in the Issaquah Highlands), performing new material and favorites from his growing catalog. Friends come and bring new friends each month to experience a raw, fresh show each time. The experimental nature of his sets there have served as a testing ground for a new project called Wildvine, which combine virtual instruments and sound effects triggered by gestures or motion. A random sound that someone in the audience makes may be sampled and used later in the same show, or someone dancing may effect the sound of the guitar, for example. Therefore, each show is a unique and collaborative experience. While still in the very early stages of development, a buzz is already starting and the "vine is growing".
